Gracen Starts 1st Grade

Gracen started 1st grade this past week. She was so excited!! Her teacher name is Mrs. Curtis and she loves her alot! Gracen also had her first spelling test. She made 100!! She was excited and was ready to learn more words. She has had a great week. Layten has missed her sissy. The first three days Grandma was here and Layten had fun playing with her. On Thursday when there was no one to entertain her she kept going to Gracen's room and saying "Sissy?? Sissy?" It was really sad! She loves playing with Gracen! It looks like Layten is crying because she will miss Gracen, but the real reason why she was crying is because I took her Cheerios away from her!! Oh Well!

First days of teaching!

Hey guys! Hope that everyone is doing great! I am sorry that some of you have been having trouble logging on. I am almost through with my first week of school. It has been good so far. I forgot how tiring it was to talk all day. Hi family-

Hope you are all doing great! I have wanted to create a way for all of us to keep in touch, so I thought a blog would be great! Once you join, you can post updates and pictures of your family! And Baumans, I can't wait to hear about Africa!
I have enjoyed my summer so much. It has been such a welcome break. I have been able to spend time with family, friends, and take a trip to the Dominican Republic. God did amazing things in the Dominican, and I can't wait to go back. I have a feeling Becky and David, that I am just as excited about the Dominican as you are Africa! I head back to school Monday, so my vacation is almost over. Take care! I can't wait to hear about what is going on with all of you!
