Update from Vicki

Jonathan is finishing up his internship with TBAR M Camps in Texas. His year included mission trips to Peru, Nicaragua, and Isreal. The picture was taken in Nicaragua. He had a great experience, but is looking forward to the next step. Amy spent two weeks in the Dominican Republic in the city of Constanza. She worked with Kids Alive, and spent time with children that have been rescued from abusive homes. Hope all is well! Vicki.

Smith family updates

Well I finally figured out how to use this thing!! We had a great trip to Destin in June for a few days at the beach. Please pray for us the 1st week of August as we lead a trip with 13 others to the Dominican Republic. We will share pictures when we get back.

Rogers Ornament Exchange

Hello family!
I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas season so far. We held our annual women's ornament exchange at Allison's house on December 9th. We all had a great time eating yummy food and visiting. The dirty Santa game was not as violent :) as in years past. Maybe because the Baumans weren't here??!!?? Just kidding. We did miss y'all. Aunt Virgie and Aunt Verna behaved very nicely this year. Sharon on the other hand....:)
The picture of Allison's little cutey Cole and I is the only picture I have from the party. If anyone else has anything, please upload. Merry Christmas!

My trip to Constanza, Dominican Republic

I am so glad everyone is posting again! So fun. I just returned from a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with my church. It was an amazing trip, and we got to see God move in many different ways. While we were there, we did construction for Kids Alive. The property has 2 new orphanages, and will soon have a school and auto body shop. We were able to play with many children and one day we did a program in the school. One of the team prayer requests before the trip was that we would be an encouragement and refreshment for the full-time missionaries in the city. God answered this request above and beyond. I know left part of my heart in Constanza. God is doing mighty things there!!

The Futterer Family Post

Well, it's so hard to believe that it is almost July?! This year has gone by so fast! It's really hard to believe that Joe and I have been married for over 7 months. We're living in a duplex in Russellville that is about two miles from work, ATU and joe's work. We are very thankful. The Lord provided it about two weeks before the wedding. Slowly, I've been trying to decorate.
For the past two years I've been involved with a girls ministry at our church called "Girls of Grace" for 7-9th grade girls. At the end of the year we have a banquet for them and their families. It was such a blessing this year to have Amy come up and be our guest speaker. She did a wonderful job and Amy, the girls are still talking about you! So get ready for next year
Bethany and I will have to post some pictures after our beach trip next week! (We haven't seen each other since Christmas, so we're pretty excited!)

The Walker family and our house

Houston says hi!

Hi cousins!
Just wanted to say hi from Houston, TX! Larry and I are doing great...I am finally on a much needed vacation from school (first real vacation in 2 years!) so we are headed to Florida for two weeks to celebrate and see our families! Other big news, Larry has a new job here in Houston working in a supervising accounting position with Southwestern Energy. We are VERY excited about this new opportunity...lots of perks, but the one I am most excited about right now is that he will only be 8 minutes from our house instead of commuting 2 hours everyday!

I was so excited to find out about Kim's engagement!! Congratulations!! I am crossing my fingers that we can somehow get back for shower or wedding (both would be even better)!

Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks Amy for keeping this going. Next, I am going to try to post some pics!

Graduation

Hi family-It has been such a long time since we have posted. I know things have been crazy for everyone. I hope that summer is going well for all.

Just an update on my family--Jonathan graduated in May from U.C.A. and he is currently working on summer staff at T Bar M Camps in Texas. He is on leadership, and he is in charge of the dock. What does that mean? Basically, he is on the lake all day every day. :) He is staying in Austin through this next year for Timothy Team, a discipleship program.

My parents are doing well. My mom is out for the summer, and is enjoying her time off. We spent 2 days in Stuttgart last week with grandma, and had a good time. I am headed to the Dominican on Saturday for a week. Have I started packing yet? Of course not!! :) Hope everyone has a great week!
